 The year is 1250 AD and most of the known world is in turmoil. The Dark Ages have left evil men in control of kingdoms, provinces and the church and a 3000 year old war is about to reach is zenith. Charmers, the magical race of beings, most of which have used their magic for evil and taken a vow to erase any resemblance of good, are in control of most of Europe. They are aided by their soldiers, vampires and werewolves alike, a test of temptation or annihilation. They are opposed by a small resistance, The Knights Templar as well as an elect group of charmer separatists known as Athenites. The Knights are Godly men of faith that at times, have solely stood in the way of the domination of evil. The Athenites have vowed and attempted to restore balance to the world but the balance of power shifts easily and the pendulum swings wide. This war is a war for not only land and power but for souls; the souls of all the unknowing, mostly unwilling surfs, peasants and commoners of the world. Evil wishes to claim them, men of faith which to save them. Which way will you swing the balance of power?
